Representative for Crystal Bay Sunset Public Utility Board

The Rural Municipality of Mervin No. 499 is seeking an engaged and community-minded individual to serve as a representative on the Crystal Bay Sunset Public Utility Board.

The Crystal Bay Sunset Public Utility Board is a corporate body established under The Municipalities Act and is responsible for overseeing the management, governance, and strategic direction of the Crystal Bay Sunset Public Utility. The Board plays a vital role in ensuring the effective delivery of water services to subscribers within the hamlet.

The Board is comprised of five (5) members in total - two (2) of these positions are appointed by Council.

Board Members participate in quarterly meetings, an annual meeting, annual budgets, and help to guide the operation of the public utility with the Certified Waterworks Operator.
