The Rural Municipality of Mervin No. 499 is currently seeking a Municipal Planner to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and innovative individual to work in a dynamic and growing municipality in Northwest Saskatchewan.

As Municipal Planner, you will play an important role in supporting responsible growth and development across the RM. The position involves working with developers, reviewing development and building permit applications, researching planning matters, preparing reports for Council, and helping ensure compliance with municipal bylaws and provincial legislation.

We are looking for someone with:
✔️ A degree in Planning or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
✔️ Experience or interest in municipal planning and development
✔️ Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
✔️ The ability to work collaboratively with the public, Council, and other agencies

📍 Location: Turtleford, SK (in-office position)
📅 Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
